Mid Hunter Palliative Care Volunteers
Cover Singleton and Cessnock LGA's.
Our volunteers provide support to people living with a terminal or life limiting illness.
We visit in the home or hospital for companionship and respite for both the patient and carer.
All volunteers undergo an education course and police checks before being placed with a client.
Volunteers are people from our community who wish to give something back. Many have firsthand experience of palliative care with family or close friends.
