Cupcakes for Cancer

Get out your diaries, mark off Saturday 29 May 2010, come down to Wollombi Village between 8am and 1pm and buy a decorated cup cake or three or a dozen to have with your coffee and tea, as part of The Cancer Council's Biggest Morning Tea in the Wollombi Valley.

As you are aware from previous events, thousands of local communities do their bit to raise funds for cancer research, prevention, councilling and other services in May of each year. This is our effort in 2010.

This cup cake event will be coordinated by the Anglican group, but in close liason with all the other groups in the valley whome we have invited to join us in making and donating pretty cupcakes for us to sell on that morning.

Get involved by:

• Donate money - donations over $10 go into a draw to win a European holiday. Tax deduction receipts will be provided by the Cancer Council.
• Can't make it? Go to Wollombi Cupcakes for Cancer on the Cancer Council website & donate.
• Donate by phoning 1300 656 585 (Cancer Council)
• Make & donate decorated cupcakes. Call Paula (4998 3252) or Lorraine (4998 8438) or Kerry (4998 8343) to arrange drop off times.

We'll be set up in the grounds of the museum near the Camphor Laurel tree (and if it rains, we'll be in the Cultural Centre) - just look out for the notice board and balloons - and of course the delicious cup cakes - you won't be able to miss us. Just make sure you bring your wallet and your appetite.

REMEMBER: EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER
