One of the interesting features of the site is the images of the main street via BowraCam. This was a community initiative to display Bowraville to the world.
Robynne McGinley, the Chairperson for the Bowraville Technology Centre, says that the new website is more interactive with extra information highlighting the local area to potential tourists, businesses and the wider community and provides an effective means of encouraging communication.
The Bowraville Technology Centre and its dedicated team of volunteers will continue to develop and manage the site introducing new and exciting content in the near future.
Robynne also hopes that all the local businesses, organisations and community groups will now get behind and utilise the Bowraville website as a place to advertise and promote their activities, services and events. They are also aiming to launch an e-commerce portal soon, which will create greater market exposure for the local businesses and organisations with Bowraville and its environs.
The team at Wollombi Valley Online welcome Bowraville into the family of true community websites.
