Birds in Backyards Members Competition

Happy New Year everybody!
I wanted to remind you all that the Birds in Backyards Member Competition is closing soon. You have until the 30th of January to get your entries in. The photos and videos you send in will help Birds in Backyards enormously in our 'Sharing Spaces' display at the Birds Australia Discovery Centre which is due to open in February. We want to get those people who visit the display to connect back with nature, and we think that hearing from our Birds in Backyards members is a great way to encourage that.
We have 3 categories that you can enter. You can submit:
- A photograph of a bird taken in your garden (jpeg file)
- A photograph of your bird-friendly garden (jpeg file)
- A 2-minute maximum digital video of you in your garden telling us about an amazing experience that you have had with the local bird life (avi file, wmf or dvd).
We have had very few garden photo submissions and unfortunately, as of yet, we have had no videos sent in :(
Remember we will be awarding prizes for the best submission in each category!
