Dear all,
Are you aware that the Draft of the next five year Bush Fire Risk Management Plan for our area is currently available for comment. Closing date Feb. 24th.
Please join us for a Sausage sizzle at the Bucketty Fire Shed on Sunday 15th Feb at 12.30 followed by a Question and Answer Session.
Inspector Brian Milsom, Lower Hunter Community Safety Officer, will be available at the Fireshed to answer questions in regards to the Bush Fire Risk Management Plan which is currently being displayed for public comment. Refer to www.maitland.nsw.gov.au/Residents%20Community/FireExhibition
This is an opportunity for you to ask questions in regard to how the Strategic plan works, the scope of the plan, who is affected, how it relates to conservation etc.
The reason the Plan goes to public exhibition is so people can check to ensure nothing is missed.
