For those with kids, there are some under-advertised things happening in the region:
Circus Royale is on this week at Cessnock Showground and next week at Singleton Showground

Later this month, the Shell Questacon Science Circus has one night only in Cessnock and early next month in Singleton.
The Shell Questacon Science Circus is a great opportunity for parents and children to share, discover and learn together. Explore the fascination and enjoyment of science through over 50 hands on exhibits.
