I recently attended Cessnock West Public School's musical production of CRAZY. The costumes were exceptional and added to the great performance of the students. Cessnock West included every student in the performance. Congratulations to the students, teachers and parents on a magnificent night's entertainment.

Thursday 17 September I attended Bellbird Public School's musical production Superkids at the Performing Arts Centre. The musical revolved around the theme of bullying and how students can all be Superkids and stand up for what is right. This production was very entertaining and a credit to the students, teachers and parents.

Our Library subscribes to YourTutor. YourTutor provides students in our LGA with access to an online tutor who is able to provide instant help and coaching in all main subjects (more information about YourTutor can be viewed at http://yourtutor.com.au/).
In June YourTutor ran a national promotion whereby any student using the service during that month went into a draw for an iPod.
Congratulations to 10 year old Luca Hawkins from Wollombi Public School who received a brand new iPod. Students from around the country entered the competition every time they completed a schoolwork tutoring session using YourTutor. Congratulations Luca.
