The Wollombi Tidy Valley's members all attended the Volunteers Day at The Poppethead at Kitchener.
All Tidy Towns groups attended from around the Cessnock LGA.
Cessnock Mayor John Clarence thanked all volunteers for all their efforts, on the behalf of Cessnock City Council, he expressed their appreciation of the "adopt a road" project and all the work the Tidy Town groups do in their communities.
The morning tea was held in the park surrounding the last saved Poppethead in this area.
Cessnock Tidy Town members helped restore the Poppethead to it's current state.
Wollombi Tidy Town members that attended today were: Gillian James, Pat Evans, Bernice Brown, Valerie Milgate and Caroline Maul.
