Allan McCudden - 62 years old - Born at Taree NSW. Educated at Rosary School, Taree, 4th Year High School. Completed a Business Course.

Former NSW Police Officer having been stationed at West Wallsend Police Station for a number of years, before it was closed. From this station, I patrolled West Wallsend, Seahampton, Stockrington, Black Hill, Minmi, Holmesville, Barnsley, Edgeworth, and Cameron Park.

Whilst in the Police at West Wallsend, I was on the Board of Directors at the Westie Workers Club, a foundation Director on the Board of Hunter Life Education, with Sgt Ross Jennings, a member of the clergy and several members of the Edgeworth community, who were also interested in the welfare of local youth. Ross Jennings and I would take local youth to the Blue Light Discos at Broadmeadow, in one of Spencer Ross' coaches, on a Friday night each month, so that they might mix with other kids outside our area.

I am a businessman at Kurri, live in Abermain, am * a Councillor on Cessnock City Council, * a Justice of the Peace, * a member of Kurri Chamber of Commerce, * and am on a number of other committees including Kurri Community Centre (a group to assist the aged, needy and youth in the community).

I am a member of Branxton RSL sub-branch, * Kurri Vintage Car Club, * Cessnock Rifle Club, * and Cessnock Pistol Club.

I am also involved with Kurri Tidy Towns, * Kurri Nostalgia Festival, * North Rothbury Tidy Towns *and am the Chairman of the Cessnock Corrective Centre Community Consultative Committee.

I also serve on several Cessnock City Council committees including * Access Advisory Committee (to assist the disabled special people in our community), * Hydro Aluminium Liason Committee, * the Inspection Committee, * Major Projects Committee (Alternate Delegate), * Newcastle Road Freight Advisory Group (Alternate Delegate), * Planning Review Committee, * Waste Management Committe * and the General Manager's Performance Review Committee (Alternate Delegate).

If you choose to elect me, as your local member for Cessnock, I will give my best to advance all aspects of the community and to help those in need.
