Alison Davey (Mayor of Cessnock)
Mrs Davey was elected Mayor in the Local Government Elections held on September 13 2008.
Cr Davey was first elected to Cessnock City Council in September 1983.
Cr Davey has resided in Cessnock since January 1961. Cr Davey is a retired Principal (25 years) of Bellbird Public School. She runs the Cessnock Achievement Centre in Cessnock.
Cr Davey writes a 'City Events' column for Cessnock/Kurri Kurri Independent newspaper each fortnight. In her leisure time she enjoys cycling and outdoor pursuits.
