Big Yango Homestead
Big Yango was a grazing property first settled in 1859 at the foot of Mt Yengo, that was acquired by National Parks in 2000 and restored as an addition to Yengo National Park (declared surrounding the property in 1988).

Big Yango Homestead has 240 volt power, two hot showers, a wood fireplace and cooking utensils. It sleeps nine people, but larger groups can make use of a separate cabin 100m away which has an extra five beds.
Contact the National Parks and Wildlife Gosford office for a full list of facilities. You'll need to bring your own linen, blankets and pillows.
Things to do: This remote location offers a number of bushwalks around Mount Yengo, including the 'Yango walk' circuit and wilderness hikes for more experience walkers. It's also a great spot for 4WD touring, horse riding (bring your own horse), mountain biking, wombat spotting and birdwatching.
Getting there: The homestead is within the Big Yango Precinct and requires access through a locked gate. Contact the park office for more details. The route includes unpaved roads; 4WD vehicle required.

Blue Gums large group campground
This is a unique camping area, catering for large groups (up to 100 people) or small vehicle-based bush camping. This area is suitable for 4WD touring, cycling, horseriding and wilderness walks - or just simply relaxing in a remote location.
Getting there: This camping ground is within the Big Yango Precinct and requires access through a locked gate. Contact the park office for more details.
